Blogophilia 40.3 A new beginning

Blogophilia 40.3 A new beginning

Blogophilia is a group of talented people, not that I'm talented by any means, who get together on Monday night/morning, depending on where you are located.  We are given topic & prompts to use in a writing for that week.  You are allowed to write anything you wish be it poetry, pores, fiction etc. it's your choice.  If you would like more information on this please let me know.

Topic: The Way We Were
(Hard, 2pts): complete the phrase "Advice is what we ask for...."
(Easy, 1pt): include the word 'insane'

Look at it as a new beginning, a chance to make it better than before.  Stop looking at the way we were like some water-color painted memory.  It doesn’t do any good to hang on to the past, it’s gone, what was will never be the same again.  Here we have a chance to start anew, so it’s not the same but we can make it work we just have to pull together, and make it better.  Look around, see it’s already started to be more like the old days, when everyone came, and over there it’s the old gang they have all showed up.  I know there are still a few who just won’t come over, still we are already doing better than we have in some time.  It’s almost insane to think this many made it.  Some we haven’t seen since the first season, a man do they still have it. Wow, we even have some new comers, so it’s looking up, even with the move and the chaos going on, with a few tweaks this place will be a hoping.

Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer, and the answer is lets get this show on the road.  Were a hit so we know any place we go the people will follow or show up.  Anyway you look at it home is where the heart is, and the people are the heart of this show.  It may have started as just a few friends getting together to challenge each other, but it has grown.  We’re no longer that garage band playing to our little circle of friends, we are moving into the big time now, covering just about ever venue and site we can find.  You have hit a home run, now looking for that home base, and the crowd goes wild!
“Wake up, it’s time to get up for school.  Come on, you don’t want to be late, not on your first day at the new school.”

“Aw mom, I don’t know if I like this or not.  It was great at the old place, why’d we have to move?”  Grumbled Ben as he throw the covers off.  Sitting on the edge of the bed rubbing the sleep from his eyes, “Man, that was some weird dream.  Sounded like junk my Grandma would say to pep me up.”
